have the time?

the CAV Network Now!
With the click of a mouse you can...
...
Stay informed about state government and pressing conservation issues,
... Let our email alert system put you in touch with decision makers
around the state,
... Have a significant impact on the outcome of important legislation.
Conservation e-Action Virginia (CAV) is a free system that uses
email alerts to put you in touch with key decision makers while
they are working on the issues, not long after the legislation has
taken effect.
Joining CAV will let you keep in touch with your elected representatives
on issues such as clean air and water; sprawl, transportation and
growth management; wilderness and forestry; and toxins and pesticides.
Your email address and contact information will only be used to identify your legislative district and for
our CAV alerts. This information will not be used for any other organizational
solicitations.
Enjoy being part of the team and part of the solution!

The
CAV Partership
VALCV-EF's CAV
program coordinates with a number of other conservation organizations
in Virginia. Together, the CAV! partners work together to produce
and send out environmental issue alerts to members of the CAV email
action network. Of the 10 to 15 alerts sent each year, some will
simply offer general information or highlight current conservation
issues. Other alerts will ask recipients to take action by clicking
on a link to send email letters to their state legislators or local
administrators.
CAV! is currently
comprised of the following organizations: Coalition for Smarter
Growth, James River Association, Piedmont Environmental Council, Scenic Virginia, Virginia Conservation Network, Virginia League
of Conservation Voters, Virginia Forest Watch, and the Virginia
Organizing Project.
Additional organizations are always welcome to join the CAV partnership.
