For the second year, VALCV-EF was able to bring a group of state legislators to Port Isobel and Tangier Island in the Chesapeake Bay to see first hand all that this wonderful resource holds for Virginians and how we are impacting it.

Choose Clean Water - Chesapeake Bay Coalition
VALCV-EF is a part of the Choose_Clean_Water_coalition that seeks to bring together people and organizations in six states and the nation's capital whose streams and rivers flow to the Chesapeake Bay. Together we are calling for real federal leadership, because it is time to stop the needless and costly pollution that is choking our waterways and hurting our wildlife, fisheries and economy.

Energy and Water Solutions for the 21st Century
Come join VALCV-EF and state and local elected officials for a workshop and briefing on energy and water issues facing the Commonwealth. We will have 6 workshops this summer to help bolster our Legislative Contact Team program and bring conservation activists and legislators together to discuss the future of critical needs like energy efficiency and renewable energy.
