WATER
As Virginians, we are fortunate enough to be home to the Chesapeake Bay, the largest estuary in the United States. The Bay serves as home to countless species of plants and animals and provides Virginians with unparalleled opportunities for work and play. It is truly a state and national treasure. However, if we hope to enjoy all the gifts that the Bay and other waterways of Virginia bestow, then we must protect them.
With a slight change in priorities, we can find the funding necessary to clean our water and protect it for the health, safety and enjoyment of future generations.
